FHL1-related myopathy

FHL1-related myopathy is a group of muscle disorders that includes conditions such as Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (EDMD), reducing body myopathy (RBM), and scapuloperoneal myopathy. These conditions are linked by shared findings in muscle tissue, such as the presence of reducing bodies upon histopathology. The spectrum of FHL1-related myopathies shows some variation in how each condition affects muscle strength and function.
