Any retinitis pigmentosa in which the cause of the disease is a mutation in the PRPF4 gene.
Features include always present findings: Retinal degeneration, Reduced visual acuity, and Rod-cone dystrophy; and very common findings: Constriction of peripheral visual field, Nyctalopia, Macular degeneration, and Optic disc pallor and others.
