BioMarin has paused dosing and enrollment in two studies of Voxzogo due to safety concerns, specifically multiple cases of hip injuries reported in other trials. This setback comes as competition intensifies in the achondroplasia market with new entrants like Ascendis Pharma and BridgeBio.
