Two of the more common demyelinating forms are acute inflammatory polyradiculopathy (guillain-barre syndrome) and polyradiculoneuropathy, chronic inflammatory demyelinating. Polyradiculoneuritis refers to inflammation of multiple peripheral nerves and spinal nerve roots.
